FORTEC Elektronik AG strengthens its presence in Benelux through complete takeover of Advantec Electronics

Germering, 21 October 2025: FORTEC Elektronik AG (FORTEC) announces the complete acquisition of the remaining shares in the distributor Advantec Electronics B.V. (Advantec). With this step, FORTEC is expanding its presence in the Benelux market and merging Advantec's activities with those of the recently acquired Nottrot B.V. – a Dutch manufacturer of monitors for maritime, military, and industrial applications – into the new regional unit FORTEC Benelux.

Advantec Electronics is a specialized distributor of power supplies, DC/DC converters, LED supplies, and transformers with a focus on industrial applications in the Benelux region. FORTEC already held a stake of around 36.7% prior to the transaction. Advantec has long-standing market relationships with OEM customers in vertical applications such as industrial automation, defense-related applications, and critical infrastructure sectors, making it a strategically relevant distribution anchor in Western Europe.

The integration of Advantec and Nottrot will create FORTEC Benelux, a regionally focused entity with combined expertise in distribution, data visualization, and system integration. By combining these strengths, FORTEC expects to generate additional synergies in the high-margin Western and Central European business while also establishing a regional platform for further growth.

In parallel with Benelux integration, FORTEC is currently pushing ahead with measures to further strengthen its market position in Eastern Europe, Spain, and France. In addition, the expansion of its presence on international online marketplaces in the electronics industry is continuing as planned in order to access new customer segments beyond traditional sales structures.

The Supervisory Board has initiated the process of appointing a new Management Board. Suitable candidates will be identified in a structured process. Until a new Management Board is appointed – no later than 30 June 2026 – Mr. Ulrich Ermel will continue to manage the company's affairs and, together with the Supervisory Board, ensure that the company remains capable of acting during the transition phase.
