The investment seeks to surpass the performance of the Merrill Lynch Euro High Yield Constrained index. The fund primarily invests in debt securities that allow for active credit risk management. It may invest in various types of bonds (high-yield, indexed or convertible) and in credit default swaps, asset- and mortgage-backed securities. The fund may use interest-rate derivatives, futures and options for hedging purposes. The minimum recommended holding period is three years.
