LION E-Mobility AG publishes annual report 2024 and confirms forecast 2025

Zug (Switzerland), June 25, 2025 – LION E-Mobility AG (LION; ISIN: CH0560888270), a leading battery pack manufacturer specializing in e-mobility and energy storage solutions, today published its audited annual report of the LION Group for the 2024 financial year.

The Group generated revenues of €16.9 million in the reporting year (previous year: €56.1 million). The operating result (EBITDA) amounted to -€3.5 million (2023: €0.0 million). A positive highlight was the fourth quarter of 2024, in which an EBITDA of €2.4 million was achieved.

The financial year was characterized by a challenging market environment. At the same time, LION used the year to carry out a comprehensive restructuring, including the sale of its stake in TÜV Süd Battery Testing GmbH. The balance sheet total declined from €69.3 million to €31.6 million, primarily due to inventory reduction and debt repayment. As a result, the equity ratio increased from 19.5% in the previous year to 22.1% as of December 31, 2024. LION is thus entering the 2025 financial year with a significantly strengthened balance sheet structure.

Outlook for 2025
For the current financial year, LION expects revenues of between € 28 million and € 35 million as well as a positive EBITDA. The focus in 2025 will be on strategic direction-setting – particularly in the area of series development for immersion technology and new OEM projects. The operational foundation has been sustainably reinforced. LION considers itself well-positioned to achieve long-term profitable growth in an increasingly technology-driven market environment.
