The Fund will aim to invest in publicly listed equity securities within the Shari’ah-compliant investment universe of the Index. The Fund may invest in initial public offerings (i) whose shares are not included in the investment universe of the Index at the time of investment, (ii) which the Investment Adviser has a reasonable expectation will be included into the Index in the near future. The Fund may also invest in other CIS, including exchanged traded funds which have been screened and approved by the Shari’ah Panel prior to such investments, ensuring compliance with the Shari’ah principles.
