Japan Producer Price Data Due On Thursday
(RTTNews) - Japan will on Thursday release September figures for producer prices and bank lending, setting the pace for a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Producer prices are expected to add 0.2 percent on month and 2.9 percent on year following the flat monthly reading and the 3.0 percent gain in August. Bank lending was up an annual 2.2 percent in the previous month.
Australia will see October's inflation forecast; in September, consumer prices were predicted to rise 4.0 percent on year.
New Zealand will provide September numbers for food prices; in August, food prices were down 0.5 percent on month.
South Korea will release August figures for current account; in July, the current account surplus was $8.76 billion.
Malaysia will see August numbers for industrial and manufacturing production; in July, they were up an annual 2.6 percent and 5.2 percent, respectively.
