Australia Inflation Expectations Rise Further In July
(RTTNews) - Inflation expectations in Australia increased again in July, survey data from the Melbourne Institute showed Thursday.
The expected inflation rate over the next twelve months rose by 2 percentage points to 3.7 percent in July from 3.5 percent in June.
In July, the proportion of respondents expecting the inflation rate to fall within the 0-5 percent range decreased to 67.0 per cent from 69.3 per cent in June.
The weighted mean of responses falling in the 0-5 per cent range was unchanged at 2.4 per cent in July.
