Italy February Current Account Surplus Decreases
(RTTNews) - Italy's current account surplus in February decreased from the same month a year ago, figures from the Bank of Italy showed Friday.
The current account surplus declined to EUR 1.19 billion from EUR 1.63 billion in the same month last year.
The surplus in the goods trade account fell to EUR 3.65 billion from EUR 4.68 billion last year. The deficit in the services trade widened to EUR 1.40 billion from EUR 1.04 billion.
The primary account balance swung to a EUR 910 million surplus from a EUR 52 million deficit a year ago. The capital account deficit widened to EUR 196 million from EUR 26 million.
