The Sub-Fund’s investment objective is to provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in a portfolio of equity securities of large-capitalization (“large-cap”) companies in emerging markets including China. 4. Investment policy and specific restrictions The Sub-Fund will focus its investments in emerging market countries which are generally countries considered to be emerging or developing by MSCI and may therefore invest up to 100% of its net assets in such countries. The Sub-Fund’s investment approach follows a core investment style, looking for companies that are undervalued, of high quality and have good growth prospects. The Investment Manager uses a quantitative model-driven approach to stock selection, portfolio construction and transaction cost measurement.
